Snow and Ice Maintenance Contractor Risks: Don't be Left Out in the Cold
Wednesday, November 5, 2014: 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. EST

Today’s legal climate does not allow commercial snow and ice maintenance contractors to simply push snow. A contractor must have all controls in place to limit slip and fall liability and property damage suits. This program will address pre-planning of customer service needs, customer property pre-season inspections, site planning considerations, quality of work, re-freeze control and more. Documentation will be covered for handling a customer’s change to scope of services as well as onsite services and conditions through the use of diagrams, photos and GPS. There will be a review of key concepts for developing solid service contracts and subcontract agreements that may reduce your exposure to slip and fall claims.
